Today we started knitting and unlike weave, I don't think I've taken to it straight away...
For some reason my knit kept falling off, getting hundreds of holes in it, pieces hooked up to pins they shouldn't and just looking overall very messy!! Nothing like the precise weaves, in lovely straight lines with careful, numerical patterns we've all got used to over the past few weeks... Never mind, guess we'll see if practise makes perfect!
After two weeks of knit I think I've come to terms with it, the sight of a knitting machine isn't making me cry, which is progress and I have made some nice samples, however I don't think it's for me, I don't feel able to translate my ideas and drawings into knit and I think it is something I'd be more likely to take up as a hobby rather than a career.
